The Education Department at Stone Child College proudly introduces the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, the college’s first bachelor’s degree. Built on SCC’s mission of excellence and cultural preservation, this program blends academic knowledge with real-world experience to prepare future educators who will uplift children, families, and communities. With every lesson, we honor our past and inspire the next generation to lead with purpose.

At Stone Child College, our Education Department offers pathways for students at every stage of their educational journey. Each program is designed to develop knowledgeable, culturally grounded educators who strengthen our communities and honor the Chippewa Cree traditions that guide our college’s mission.

Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education

Our first bachelor’s degree program, focused on preparing future educators to nurture children’s development through culturally responsive teaching. Students gain practical classroom experience and a deep understanding of early learning environments.

Associate of Arts in Education

Provides a strong foundation in child development, curriculum planning, and classroom management. This program prepares students to transfer into a bachelor’s program or pursue careers supporting K–12 education.

Early Childhood Education Certificate

An entry-level program designed for those seeking immediate opportunities in early learning or childcare settings. Students develop essential teaching skills and cultural awareness that make a lasting impact in their communities.
