PROJECT LIASON______Tracy Dougher, Associate Professor of Horticulture MSU- Bozeman

Once the plot has been developed and the soil has been analyzed, the plants grown will be used for study and research conducted as part of our science courses.
2. SCC is proposing the project will ultimately lead to a better understanding of the local cultivation of specific food crops. The information gathered will assist community members in effectively developing crops (from small gardens to larger plots). Our project will determine whether or not the proposed crops can be successfully cultivated locally.
3. A final report containing detailed baseline data on the plot to be devoted to future agriculture research projects; a three dimensional map of the plot which assess the soil parameters including defiltration rate, texture, organisms in the soil and soil fertility.
